European Desserts and More

Welcome to European Desserts and More at Canal Place
Canal Place is delighted to announce the opening of European Desserts and More, owned and operated by Sasha and Jasmina Vasic, in the Shops at Canal Place. The full service bakery and café will bring the unique taste of Europe to Downtown Cumberland. European Desserts and More will offer European handmade, traditional family recipes, filled with high quality ingredients. Discover a variety of Bosnian, Italian, German, French and Austrian desserts, with pastries and coffee, including Bosnian espresso and American. A few of the decadent desserts include baklava, tiramisu, saher torta, bee-sting cake, Vasina torta, reform cake, cassato cake, Ferrero Rocher torta, raffaello, peanut butter cake and homemade cookies. They will carry Bosnian traditional pita and fillo dough, filled with spinach and cheese or meat and potato as well as Rotollo’s portobello roasted red pepper and mozzarella sandwiches, chicken salad, and other specialties offered, including soups in the winter time. They will also be selling European candies and goods. European Desserts and More will be open seven days a week from 11 am to 7 pm during the winter months, and they can be reached by calling 301.777.0404 to place an order or inquire about having them cater your next event. The café is located at 17 Howard Street in Unit C-1, with free parking available adjacent to the Shops at Canal Place.
