Caboose Rental

Get an unusual view of the tracks when you ride in the caboose! Rent the entire caboose for only $350.

• Advance reservations must be called in at least 48 hours prior to departure.
• Reservations for the caboose are on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The caboose seats 12-15 riders; maximum capacity will not be exceeded.
• The caboose is not handicap accessible and does not offer rest room facilities, excursion narration, climate control, or access to other train cars.
• The caboose may not be the last car on the train.
• As on the rest of the train, smoking is not permitted in the caboose.

Santa Express

The Santa Express departs Cumberland at 11:30 AM, and the round trip lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours. Our jolly Santa rides to Frostburg and walks throughout the train, handing out candy canes. Standard excursion ticket prices apply.

North Pole Express

The North Pole Express departs Cumberland at 6:00 PM, and the round trip lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours. Our jolly Santa meets the train at the Depot in Frostburg, where riders will be served cookies and hot chocolate.
